The pandemic, already more than two years as of this writing, has seen the rise of micro and nano online businesses. Because of lockdown restrictions, many were forced to resort to e-commerce transactions.
On a personal note, I have not been inside a supermarket since the pandemic began. To date, our family’s grocery requirements are all delivered to our home. Online shopping has been my go-to for most everything else I need. I have also seen friends and family move their store businesses online. Many who lost jobs or just need extra income have opened food, crafts, and other businesses online.
It is not just important to be able to offer your products online. Logistics is very critical too in order to send customer orders to their addresses in the quickest and most efficient way. As an archipelagic country, crossing islands poses a challenge unlike those of countries with a single mass.
