This is the second summer that we are all still on lockdown. It may not be that easy to go around but Starbucks has not forgotten us. They have still come up with a cool (pun intended) Starbucks summer line-up. When the heat is on, literally and figuratively, Starbucks has our back. Let’s look at what they have for us.
Beverages
Starbucks is introducing two new iced Teavana beverages – made with premium full-leaf teas. Two fruity blends are paired with Teavana Zen Clouds Oolong tea.
The Sunshine Pineapple Oolong has real golden pineapple chunks, pineapple sauce, and a honey cold foam for a really refreshing drink.
The Sunshine Peach Oolong, on the other hand, has peach juice and white peach jelly chunks and topped with honey cold foam.
For more indulgent flavors, try two innovative beverages made with Teavana™ Golden Monkey tea. The Triple Golden Monkey layered with malty oatmilk, silky tea foam and tea-flavored cookie crumbs is a perfect balance of bold and fragrant Asian flavors. Meanwhile, the Cocoa Golden Monkey will leave you wanting more with the addition of decadent mocha sauce.
All four new Teavana beverages come in fun limited edition reusable cups. Available in Grande size and iced format for only P175 each. It will also be available via GrabFood (prices will vary).
Whole Bean Coffees
Starbucks is introducing two whole bean coffees: Indonesia West Java comes in two versions (regular and Reserve). Both are available at the stores and via GrabFood (prices will vary).
This coffee comes from the region of Parahyangan, where coffees are traditionally processed using the semi-washed (wet-hulled) method.
Wet- hulled coffees often have more body and lower acidity and are known to have complex layers of flavor. In the cup, aromas of sage are layered with flavor notes of bittersweet chocolate and vanilla-like sweetness.
The Starbucks Reserve Indonesia West Java comes from the the Preanger (pree-unger) region in West Java, dubbed the “abode of the gods” full of prolific rainfall, black volcanic earth and lush rainforest shade trees abound to form ideal coffee-growing conditions. Cooler temperatures also serve to slow coffee maturation, creating a complex cup profile that’s both sweet and herbal. This coffee is a notable favorite.

The Milk Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake is a decadent NY cheesecake base with milk chocolate cheesecake then frosted with chocolate ganache and topped with milk chocolate truffle.
The Banana Cream Cheesecake is a smooth and creamy cheesecake loaded with sliced banana, chocolate, toffee and topped with generous cream and chocolate curls.
The Zebra Cake with Belgian Chocolate is two layers of yellow and chocolate sponge cake filled with milky caramel chocolate ganache and finished with smooth cream milk chocolate icing and crushed almonds.
