Coffee lovers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — heads up! Just in time for the Philippines’ 120th anniversary celebration of Independence Day on June 12, 2018, Starbucks will be releasing its Island Series collection. Each major island (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) is represented in the Island Series with a Starbucks 16-oz mug as well as a matching Starbucks card.
The Luzon ceramig mug in matte vibrant blue features a glossy decal with gold foil highlighting the night scenes of the business districts of Luzon. the Starbucks wordmark logo is laser engraved on the side of the mug and comes in a collector box packaging.
The Visayas mug features a debossed artwork of Sampaguita flowers and coconut palm tree leaves in gold foil representing the beaches in the Visayas which the island is known for. The mug comes in matte yellow ochre with a laser-engraved Starbucks wordmark logo on the mug. It comes in a collector box packaging.
The Mindanao mug, in red Bordeaux, features a glossy decal of the iconic Vinta boat with a sail in various colors that represent the colorful culture and history of Mindanao. It also comes in a collector box packaging.
You can get the Island series mugs for PhP 995 each. The matching Starbucks cards are available for an initial activation amount of PhP 500 per card.
The Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao mugs and cards are available in their respective Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Starbucks Stores, as well as select Airport Stores. The Island Series collection of mugs and cards will be available starting June 12, 2018.
