Most of the time, when I’m in a cafe, I order cappuccino or a latte. I love the froth and the creamy mix of the coffee. At home, however, I almost always have to make do with 3-in-1 coffee because I do not know how to replicate the cappuccino or latte.
Not anymore!!!
I have my very own Nescafe Red Mug Machine that now allows me to prepare my very own, homemade foamy cappuccino, layered Latte, and more!!! I can make myself a Mocha, an Americano, and create other coffee creations using soluble coffee and Nescafe’s Coffee-Mate, of course.
The Nescafe Red Mug Machine was developed in Switzerland by Nestle’s coffee machine experts. It has a coffee chamber with a cyclone that brings out the coffee’s aroma and flavor. It also has a foaming jet technology that creates the froth I love. It is similar to those steam jets you see in cafes when baristas prepare your coffee.
The coffee machine itself is a beautiful, glossy fashion accessory that looks classy on any dining table, kitchen counter or just about anywhere else. Designed with Nescafe’s iconic red color, it is easily assembled and is quite light. A translucent water receptacle at the back of the Red Mug fits snugly into the back compartment. A separate drain stand is connected to its front.
There are two main settings for the coffee. The setting with 2 icons (on the left) creates the froth for cappuccino or latte. The plain setting on the right with a single icon is for espresso or Americano. All it takes is 3 easy steps as illustrated below.
I got to try out the Red Mug machine at the blogger event where we were all paired up with some of the Nescafe Red Mug machines ambassadors: singer/actress Denise Laurel; marketing wiz Raymond Gutierrez; and artist-turned-foodie and restaurateur Biance King. I was assigned to Team Raymond.
Raymond had concocted his very own Vanilla Iced Coffee and we all took turns preparing them following this recipe:
