Moms Switch and Save at Watsons - The Philippine Beat

The afternoon turned out to be one I totally enjoyed as a Mom. I had an afternoon to shop around Watsons at SM The Block with mom-to-be, host, and Watsons celebrity store supervisor-for-the-day, Patty Laurel-Filart.

Patty is the third Switch and Save ambassador to pay a surprise visit to a Watsons store. The first one was Tessa Prieto-Valdes at SM Aura last May 2 and singer Christian Bautista last April at Watsons SM Mall of Asia.

Patty gave the bloggers a tour of the Watsons store and explained to us why she had made the switch. Imagine, she was about 7-1/2 months pregnant as she walked with us and of course, moms-to-be and moms are always budget-conscious. Patty loved the fact that she could find all she needed in one place – haircare, skin care, dental care products; beauty essentials; toiletries; and even vitamins, supplements, and generic medicines.

I was not totally surprised that she loved shopping at Watsons because during Christmas time these last few years, I have done a lot of shopping here. The “Buy 1, Take 1” items they regularly offered really gave me value for my money. What was surprising though was my realization just by going around that the Watsons label did not just cover a few things. I was familiar with their hand soaps, lotions and body wash items. However, I didn’t know though that the Watsons label was also carried on other items such as Watsons Collagen Q10 Intensive Moisturising & Firming Hand Cream, Watsons Facial 3 Step Mask, and for the hair, Watsons Treatment Shampoo Argan Oil and Watsons Treatment Wax!
